New CSB Board of Trustees members named

Coborn, a 1981 CSB graduate, is a sales representative for Whitehall Laboratories. She holds a bachelor's degree in business and a parent education licensure from St. Cloud State University. She is a past board member of the CSB Alumnae Association and the Cathedral Education Foundation in St. Cloud, Minn. Her daughter, Emily, is a 2008 graduate of CSB and her two sons, Michael and Peter, both attend Saint John's University.

Dolan is vice chair of U.S. Bank in Minneapolis. He holds a bachelor of arts degree in business accounting from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minn. He serves on the boards of several Minnesota non-profit organizations, including Artspace Projects, the Cowles Center for Dance and Performing Arts, The Minneapolis Foundation and Catholic Charities. His daughter, Hannah, is a current student at CSB.

Ruether, a 1966 CSB graduate, serves as a development/communications assistant for the Sisters of the Order of Saint Benedict in St. Joseph, the founding monastery of CSB. She earned a bachelor of science degree in home economics education and a bachelor of arts in nutrition. She taught home economics to high school students and served as a hospital dietitian and mission integration director for St. Benedict's Senior Community in St. Cloud before returning to the monastery and serving in several capacities.

Tran, the new student trustee and ex-officio member, will serve a one-year term and is a senior at CSB studying management. She is a member of CSB's Student Senate and the president of the Vietnamese Student Association. She is an Entrepreneur scholar in the Donald McNeely Center for Entrepreneurship, a program that provides students from all disciplines with the opportunity to design and implement a world-class venture, and she interns for the WeCar program, a shared-car partnership. Tran is from St. Cloud.

Bacon, an ex-officio member, is the vice chair of the Joint Faculty Assembly and an associate professor of psychology at CSB and SJU. She specializes in social psychology and the psychology of gender. She earned a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from Carleton College in Northfield, Minn.,and master of science and doctor of philosophy degrees in psychology from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. She has worked at CSB and SJU since 2003 and lives in Sartell, Minn. She will serve a two-year term.
