The College of Saint Benedict Sponsors Reading With Award Winning Author, Sujata Massey

ST. JOSEPH, Minn. - Sujata Massey, an award winning mystery author, will read selections from her book, The Bride's Kimono, from 3:30-5 p.m. Monday, Dec. 2, in the Teresa Reception Center boardroom, Main Building, on the CSB campus. An informal gathering and book signing will follow the reading. This event is sponsored by CSB/SJU Asian Studies Learning Community and CSB and SJU bookstores. The event is free and open to the public.
The Bride's Kimono, Massey's latest book, is a sophisticated mystery dealing with a murder and the theft of a precious kimono. All of Massey's novels are set in Japan. Her sleuth is a Japanese-American woman named Rei Shimura.
Massey has published several books and received several awards, including the Agatha prize for her first novel, Salaryman's Wife.
