ST. JOSEPH, Minn. - Sujata Massey, an award winning mystery author, will read selections from her book, The Bride's Kimono, from 3:30-5 p.m. Monday, Dec. 2, in the Teresa Reception Center boardroom, Main Building, on the CSB campus. An informal gathering and book signing will follow the reading. This event is sponsored by CSB/SJU Asian Studies Learning Community and CSB and SJU bookstores. The event is free and open to the public.

The Bride's Kimono, Massey's latest book, is a sophisticated mystery dealing with a murder and the theft of a precious kimono. All of Massey's novels are set in Japan. Her sleuth is a Japanese-American woman named Rei Shimura.

Massey has published several books and received several awards, including the Agatha prize for her first novel, Salaryman's Wife.

The College of Saint Benedict for women and Saint John's University for men are partners in liberal arts education, providing students the opportunity to benefit from the distinctions of not one, but two nationally recognized Catholic, Benedictine, residential undergraduate colleges. Together, the colleges challenge students to live balanced lives of learning, work, leadership and service in a coeducational environment.
