The tenth annual Celebrating Scholarship and Creativity Day is Wednesday, April 28 at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University. The day recognizes and honors the achievements of the many student scholars engaged in independent and creative work or research projects at CSB and SJU.
Events will run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with presentations, performances, and talks planned for both campuses. Dr. William Cronon, noted environmental historian, will deliver an illustrated plenary lecture called "Kennecott Journey", about a copper mining town in Alaska. Cronon's address will be held at 10:30 a.m. in the Stephen B. Humphrey Auditorium, SJU. It will be simulcast in Alumnae Hall, Haehn Campus Center on the CSB campus.
There are no classes at CSB or SJU that day.
