Bugler wins national steeplechase title

For the third time, a Saint John's University student-athlete won the men's 3,000-meter steeplechase title at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Ryan Bugler, a junior from Okinawa, Japan, won the title Saturday, May 28, at Waverly, Iowa. He joins Jim Gathje '86, who won back-to-back titles in the steeplechase in 1985 and 1986.
