The Saint John’s University Bookstore will be hosting a book signing by two authors from 10:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 21, in the campus bookstore. This event is free and open to the public.

John McCutcheon, a 1974 graduate of SJU, will be signing copies of his Grammy nominated book and CD, “Christmas in the Trenches,” and his new book and CD “Flowers for Sarajevo.”

Both of McCutcheon’s books are based on real events and include an audio CD featuring McCutcheon singing and narrating the story. McCutcheon is one of America’s most respected folksingers and performers.

Jon McGee, a 1984 graduate of SJU, will be signing copies of “Breakpoint: The Changing Marketplace for Higher Education.”

McGee is vice president for planning and strategy for SJU and the College of Saint Benedict. In his book, McGee provides information on how higher education leaders make choices that advance their institutional values and serve their students and the common good for generations to come.

The book signing will take place in the SJU Bookstore, which is located in Sexton Commons, on the SJU campus in Collegeville. For more information, contact Ann Jonas at 320-363-3081 or 1-800-420-4509.
