The National Association of Division III Athletic Administrators (NADIIIAA) has recognized a volunteer effort by Saint John’s University student-athletes as honorable mention recipients of the NADIIIAA Community Service award in the On-Going Project category.

Last March, SJU student-athletes packed over 82,000 meals for families in Somalia and area food shelves.

The Kids Fighting Hunger project brought together the Saint John’s Student Advisory Committee, the Saint John’s Student Senate and hundreds of Johnnie student-athletes.
