The 24th annual Halloween in the Halls event will take place from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 27, in the Gorecki Center, College of Saint Benedict.

Children will be encouraged to trick-or-treat through the first-year resident halls of Aurora, Corona and Regina on the CSB campus. First-year students decorate their resident halls and pass out candy to trick-or-treaters. Children will be accompanied by residents in the sophomore and upper-class areas.

Trick-or-treating tours begin at 1:10 p.m. and will depart from Gorecki every 15 minutes.

The event includes a Halloween carnival featuring games and activities with chances to win prizes. Members of CSB clubs and organizations volunteer to run carnival games in Gorecki in between trick-or-treating hours.

The CSB Office of Sustainability will donate reusable water bottles to the first 300 participants. The event is sponsored by CSB Residential Life and is free and open to the public. It is recommended for children under the age of 10.
