2006 CSB/SJU Homecoming Weekend: Sept. 29 - Oct. 1
Alumnae/i, family and friends are invited to the Tundra before the homecoming football game for a pre-game celebration and after the game for the Homecoming Carnival.

Book Signings and Johnnie Gear at the Saint John's University Bookstore
The Saint John's University Bookstore, in Sexton Commons, will have author appearances before every home football game this fall

CSB announces $3.5 million gift for dining and conference center
The College of Saint Benedict formally broke ground on Tuesday, August 29, on a 51,000-square-foot state-of-the-art dining and conference center to be named for the donors, Ben and Dorothy Gorecki of Milaca.

HMML Homecoming Open House
The Hill Museum & Manuscript Library (HMML) invites you to the Annual HMML Open House during CSB/SJU Homecoming on Saturday, September 30 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Habitat for Humanity Project - Women Build - CSB Alums Pitch In
Central Minnesota CSB alumnae rolled up their sleeves to help the local Habitat for Humanity chapter build several homes for local familes.

The Saint John's Bible is currently traveling to several museums throughout the United States.

CSB Alums Help First Year Students Move In
More than 500 first year students converged on campus August 26, eager to begin their collegiate days at the College of Saint Benedict. Greeting them were a host of CSB alumnae.

Fifth Annual Red Mass Scheduled
Alumnae/i, parents, and friends of CSB/SJU who have an interest in the law are welcome to attend the Fifth Annual Red Mass on November 11.

BCLL Offers Several Special Study-Travel Opportunities
Two presentations and discussions on Benedictine Spirituality this fall will preview the BCLL trip to Florence and Rome with Mary Reuter, OSB, Ph.D., in March. BCLL is also offering international travel programs early next year to Vietnam with CSB President MaryAnn Baenninger in January and to England in March.

Saint John's at 150: A Choral and Instrumental Spectacular
Saint John's Abbey, the CSB/SJU Music Department and the Amadeus Chamber Symphony present A Gala Sesquicentennial Concert to celebrate 150 years of music at Saint John's.

Abbey Guesthouse and Petters Pavilion Dedication
The Saint John's Abbey will hold a blessing and dedication of the Abbey Guesthouse and Petters Church Pavilion the weekend of October 21-22. The event, which is open to the public, includes tours of the new facilities from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Jerome Tupa, OSB ~ The Road to Compostella
Join Fr. Jerome Tupa for a reception at the Saint John's Art Center on Sunday, October 1 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Fr. Jerome Tupa’s exhibition entitled The Road to Compostella chronicles in watercolors and oil paintings Tupa’s travels from Paris to Compostella in Spain.

Saint John's at 150 - A Portrait of This Place Called Collegeville
This 160-page book features compelling essays by a variety of writers and striking black-and-white and color photos.

Class Reunion Registration Deadline Just Days Away
We’ve planned a weekend full of class events which will culminate with the Homecoming fireworks on Saturday, September 30. If you haven't already signed up, you have until September 15 to do so.

CSB receives $500,000 grant from Lilly Endowment for Companions on a Journey program
The College of Saint Benedict has received a $500,000 grant from Lilly Endowment Inc. to help prepare a new generation of women for leadership in church and society.

CSB/SJU student newspaper, The Record, wins national award
The College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University weekly student newspaper, The Record, was awarded an honorable mention for best of show for a weekly paper on Aug. 6 during the Associated Collegiate Press’ national conference in Washington, D.C.
