As Saint John's celebrates its 150th anniversary the story of this spiritual community is told in captivating words and telling images in Saint John's at 150. The 160-page book features compelling essays by a variety of writers and striking black-and-white and color photos.

CSB Student Selected to Participate in Public Policy Leadership Conference at Harvard
Vanessa Williams, a student at the College of Saint Benedict in St. Joseph, Minn., has been selected to participate in the sixth annual Public Policy Leadership Conference Feb. 23-26 at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.

SJU Men’s Chorus Performs Concert Tour
The Saint John's University Men’s Chorus presents 13 concerts in Minnesota, Nebraska, Colorado and South Dakota as part of its 2006 Winter Tour Feb. 22 to March 6.

CSB/SJU Student Newspaper Ranks First at Minnesota Newspaper Association Contest
The College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University student newspaper, The Record, won 10 awards, including first place for general excellence for the second consecutive year, from the Minnesota Newspaper Association’s 2004-05 College Better Newspaper Contest January 27 at the Sheraton Hotel South in Bloomington, Minn.

CSB Inducts 19 New Members into Omega Chapter of Delta Epsilon Sigma
The College of Saint Benedict will induct 19 new members into the Omega Chapter of Delta Epsilon Sigma (DES) during a ceremony Sunday, Feb. 19, at the Haehn Campus Center (HCC) on the CSB campus.

Bible Film wins CINE Golden Eagle Award
Saint John's University has won a CINE Golden Eagle Award for “The Word Made Flesh,” a film produced by the university as an inspirational and educational tool for The Saint John's Bible project.

Saint John's University announces the establishment of The Eugene J. McCarthy Lecture to honor one of its most distinguished graduates.

Sister Wendy Beckett, Renowned Art Commentator and Catholic Nun, Receives Award from Saint John's University
Saint John's University presented the 13th annual Colman J. Barry Award for Distinguished Contributions to Religion and Society to internationally renowned art commentator, Sister Wendy Beckett, to honor her service to society as art historian, author and television host.

CSB/SJU Ranked No. 3 in National Study-Abroad Report
The College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University are ranked No. 3 nationally among baccalaureate institutions for total number of study abroad students in the annual report on international education, Open Doors 2005, published by the Institute of International Education (IIE).

Pastiche in Concert at the Basilica of Saint Mary
Faculty memebers from the CSB/SJU music department will present a concert in Minneapolis on Friday, February 17. The ensemble known as Pastiche will perform beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the Basilica of Saint Mary.

The Minnesota Private Colleges Annual Job & Internship Fair Reception
The Alumnae/i Associations of the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University are sponsoring the annual Job and Internship Fair Reception in the Twin Cities area for current CSB and SJU students. The Alumnae/i Associations invite you to attend the reception on Monday, February 27th from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Securian (formerly Minnesota Mutual) in downtown St. Paul.
