Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays!

This is the last week of classes at CSB/SJU for the fall semester...finals begin on Saturday, Dec. 16, and the fall semester officially closes at 3 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 20.

CSB/SJU ranked No. 2 in national study-abroad report
The College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University are ranked No. 2 nationally among baccalaureate institutions for total number of study abroad students in the annual report on international education, Open Doors 2006, published by the Institute of International Education (IIE).

Benedicta Arts Center of the College of Saint Benedict wins award for architectural excellence
The Benedicta Arts Center of the College of Saint Benedict is one of 10 projects receiving an Honor Award by the American Institute of Architects Minnesota.

Spirituality Conference Feb. 15-16, 2007
The conference will celebrate the influential work of the Benedictine sisters for the last 150 years as well as highlight women’s vocations and the way they accompany each other amidst the daily graces of life.

The Saint John's Bible on Exhibition Alumnae/i and Friends CSB/SJU
The Saint John's Bible will be on display at the Naples Museum of Art from January 26 to April 6, 2007. Also, The Saint John's Bible exhibition Illuminating the Word, on display at the Library of Congress in Washington, DC, has been extended to December 30!

Holiday Happenings at the CSB/SJU bookstores
The holidays are fast approaching and everyone is getting ready for them. Don’t forget to check out all the gift items that are available on the CSB/SJU Bookstores Web site.

Every spring since 1995, the Caritas Award has been presented to one CSB alumna, one SJU alumnus, one CSB student and one SJU student for outstanding community service or social justice work. Currently, the Caritas Committee is accepting nominations for the 2007 awards.
