Life Safety Services Director
Saint John's University
PO Box 2000

Dear Shawn:
The Trident Foundation has concluded their mission at Saint John's University and in essence, has closed the physical search for missing student, Josh Guimond. All university properties, including buildings and structures have been satisfactorily examined during the course of this search.
The extended search effort has been a very trying time, most specifically for the family and friends of Josh Guimond. Everyone involved shares the frustration and pain affiliated with the unknown.
Saint John's University has repeatedly gone the extra mile to assist the official search efforts. This unsolicited cooperation has been a welcome resource for the Stearns County Sheriff's Office already stretched beyond limitations. During this crisis, as expected, the University has been understanding, compassionate and patient. These are values taught in the classrooms at Saint John's University and most importantly, projected into our community.
Sincerely,
John L. Sanner
Sheriff
