Nursing department ranked highly by College Factual

College Factual GraphicThe nursing program at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University was recently ranked highly by College Factual, which ranks programs offered by four-year U.S. colleges and universities.

The nursing program was ranked 67th out of 513 schools nationwide in College Factual’s 2018 rankings. It improved its ranking four positions over its 2017 ranking of 71.

Within Minnesota, the nursing program was ranked third out of 14 programs.

College Factual also ranked several other academic programs at CSB and SJU.

  • The English language and literature program was ranked in the top 1 percent in the country;
  • The multi/interdisciplinary studies program was in the top 1 percent in the country for best value;
  • The psychology program was in the top 1 percent in the country for highest paid graduates;
  • The accounting program was in the top 5 percent nationally for most focused program;
  • The chemistry program was in the top 5 percent nationally for most focused program;
  • The writing program was in the top 5 percent nationally for most focused program;
  • The physical science program was in the top 10 percent nationally for most focused program;

Overall, the schools were ranked in the top 10 percent among Plains States’ schools.
