Author Annette Atkins to sign books at CSB Oct. 12

The College of Saint Benedict will be hosting a book signing by author Annette Atkins on Saturday, Oct. 12, as part of Family Weekend festivities.

The book signing takes place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the CSB Bookstore, which is located in Mary Commons on the CSB campus. The public is invited to attend.

Atkins will be signing copies of her new CSB Centennial commemorative book, "Challenging Women Since 1913: The College of Saint Benedict" along with "Creating Minnesota: A History from the Inside Out" and "The State We're In: Reflections on Minnesota History," which she co-edited with Debbie Miller.

Atkins is professor of history at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University, and recently served as interim executive director of the Stearns History Museum and Research Center in St. Cloud, Minn. She has appeared frequently on Minnesota Public Radio, and also has strong ties with the Minnesota Historical Society.
