CSB/SJU graduates inducted into Kappa Phi At Large, Sigma Theta Tau International

Sixteen recent graduates of the College of Saint Benedict, St. Joseph, and Saint John’s University, Collegeville, were inducted into a new chapter of Kappa Phi At Large, Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI) April 19 at Haehn Campus Center, CSB.
The chapter includes nursing students and professionals from CSB/SJU, St. Cloud State University and the professional community in the St. Cloud area.
The 14 CSB students inducted into the chapter all graduated May 12. They are, listed alphabetically:
- Brittany C. Ash, a native of Victoria, Minn., graduated with a bachelor of science degree in nursing;
- Rachel DesMarais, a native of Greenfield, Minn., graduated cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in nursing;
- Callie Fulton, a native of Rochester, Minn., graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in nursing;
- Erica Havlicek, a native of New Prague, Minn., graduated cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in nursing;
- Margaret Hunt, a native of Cavalier, N.D., graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in nursing.
- Amanda Kack, a native of Minneota, Minn., graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in nursing;
- Rochelle Marie Kolles, a native of Elk River, Minn., graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in nursing;
- Aline M. Langer, a native of North Oaks, Minn., graduated cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in nursing;
- Janelle Schmit, a native of Fargo, N.D., graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in nursing;
- Kaylle Schmit, a native of Brooklyn Park, Minn., graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in nursing;
- Naomi Sumers, a native of Champlin, Minn., graduated cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in nursing;
- Kristen Tobias, a native of Madison, Minn., graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in nursing;
- Katie Williams, a native of Mankato, Minn., graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in nursing;
- Laura Zwach, a native of Walnut Grove, Minn., who graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in nursing;
The two SJU students inducted into the chapter graduated May 13. They are:
- Joey Dauwalter, a native of Carver, Minn., graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in nursing;
- Gregory Trobec, a native of St. Stephen, Minn., graduated with a bachelor of science degree in nursing.
The chapter is expected to enhance the members’ professional nursing careers. Karen Morin, the director of the nursing department at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, represented STTI at the chartering ceremony.
