Student Athlete Advisory Committees Hard at Work

The CSB/SJU Student Athlete Advisory Committees (SAAC) have been busy raising money for Special Olympics.  The groups recently presented a check for $1,300 to the St. Cloud Area Special Olympics.  This money was raised during the third annual semi-formal dance hosted by both the CSB SAAC and SJU SAAC.

In other SAAC news, the CSB group recently hosted a Faculty Appreciation Dessert, a time to say thanks to their professors for the support they have provided this past year to them as student-athletes. 

And both SAAC’s will be hosting the third annual “Kid’s Hope Fun Day” on Sunday, April 30^th.  On that day, student-athlete volunteers from CSB and SJU will spend the afternoon working with youth from "Place of Hope" in St. Cloud.  An afternoon of games are planned at CSB's Clemen’s Field house.
