Former U.S. Vice President Walter Mondale Added as Eulogist for Eugene McCarthy Memorial Mass at Saint John’s University

Former U.S. Vice President Walter Mondale has been added as an eulogist for the Eugene McCarthy Memorial Mass at Saint John’s University, which will be held at 4 p.m. Monday, Jan. 23 in the Abbey/University Church on the university's campus in Collegeville.

Abbot John Klassen, OSB of Saint John's Abbey will be the celebrant. The Mass is open to the public.

A reception will follow the Mass in the Great Hall, with further opportunities for friends and family members to share stories about McCarthy, who died Dec. 10, 2005 in Washington, D.C.
