All music students have access to the Fine Arts Computer Lab in C100 of the Benedicta Arts Center during open access hours. The lab contains 20 Macintosh computers, each with its own electronic keyboard interfaced with the computer for music use. FINALE notation software and VISION sequencing software is installed on each computer for music applications. In addition, ear-training and instructional programs are used by students in Comprehensive Musicianship classes. CD-Rom drives are available on every computer as well. An additional facility specifically for electronic music composition is available for student use on the St. John's campus. The Electronic Music Lab is a full MIDI computer studio with recording capabilities. Interested students should contact Greg Walker or Brian Campbell.
