Organ, Voice and Guitar Proficiencies for Liturgical Music

All liturgical music majors are required to pass proficiency in organ and voice. No guitar proficiency is required, however, it is recommended majors take some guitar when possible. Proficiency for voice is achieved at the discretion of the instructor.  This proficiency can only be taken during juries at the end of the semester. Organ proficiency varies upon each students' primary instrument and is provided by the instructor through consultation with the keyboard faculty (for example; as an organ major, one must also complete a service playing proficiency).
