Chinese Corner

The Chinese Corner is a great opportunity for you to practice Chinese, meet native Mandarin speakers and get questions on Chinese language and culture answered. It is open to the public. Please join us!

We meet twice every week: every Thursday from 7:00 to 8:00 pm at classroom HAB 119 and every Sunday from 5:00 to 6:00 pm at the common area of HAB.

Welcome! If you have any questions, please email Professor Geng at sgeng@csbsju.edu

Chinese Classics Reading Group

The Chinese Classics Reading Group provides a rare opportunity for faculty and students to share their ideas and thoughts on some of the best known Chinese classics. In Fall 2008, the group is reading The Romance of the Three Kingdoms by Guanzhong Luo, which is often regarded as the greatest Chinese historical novel.

The group is open to the public. Anyone who has an interest in Chinese literature is welcome. If you are interested in finding more about the reading group, please email Professor Geng at sgeng@csbsju.edu.
