DC Study Tour (2007)

From October 11-14, 2007, CSB/SJU students, led by professor Matt Lindstrom, participated in a Washington, D.C. study tour. Their excursion had several highlights:

• Capitol tour courtesy of Michele Bachmann
• Meeting with Democratic National Committee chair Howard Dean
• Alumnae event hosted by College of Saint Benedict alumna Lisa Spoden, Founder and Executive Vice President, Strategic Health Care
• Meeting with CSB alumna Peg McGlinch, former Chief of Staff for Representative Tim Walz.
• Visit to Caesar Chavez Charter School for Public Policy
• Meeting with SJU alumnus Jim Mulrooney, lobbyist for Wells Fargo Bank government relations
• Personal time to visit museums, monuments, and cultural institutions
