Gary interviews CSB/SJU professor Noreen Herzfeld and Dr. Ken Miller, a professor from Brown University. As a scientist and a Roman Catholic, Miller believes God and Darwin's Theory of Evolution can co-exist. Through the Adopt-a-Highway program, the McCarthy Center has adopted a 3 mile stretch of road on CSAH-9 South of Avon. Meet us in the McCarthy Center. Over long-weekend, the McCarthy Center will lead an urban planning study tour to Duluth, Minnesota, and Superior, Wisconsin. The agenda will include meeting with representatives from Cirrus Aircraft, the City of Duluth, and the Chambers of Commerce from Duluth and Superior. We will also meet with other alums to talk about the bustling Twin Ports.

Dr. Chenoweth is a young scholar whose groundbreaking work promoting the empirical study of civil resistance has already won her numerous awards leading Foreign Policy magazine to name her one of its "Top 100 Global Thinkers for 2013". As an expert on terrorism, she set out with her colleague Maria Stephan (an expert on nonviolence) to study the relative effectiveness of both violent and nonviolent movements.

Mark Kennedy Frontiers of Freedom Lecture Series Featuring Matt Rhoades
