Spreading Economic Literacy
The Eugene J. McCarthy Center for Public Policy & Civic Engagement is pleased to sponsor Dr. Louis Johnston's Econ in English series through the Joseph P. Farry Professorship.
In an increasingly complex world economy, economic literacy has never been more important. Econ in English features accessible and easy to understand explanations for some of the most important topics in economics. This series invites faculty, students, administrators, alums, and community members of all backgrounds to discuss these issues in an informal environment and is especially focused on reaching students and individuals who may not have had exposure to economic concepts or ideas before.
All majors and ages are welcome to attend Econ in English. Free pizza and refreshments are provided.
