The College of Saint Benedict/Saint John's University Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE) team won a 2010 SIFE USA Regional Competition on March 22 in Minneapolis.
The team competed against schools by presenting their year-long projects in the categories of financial literacy, success skills, entrepreneurship, sustainability, market economics and business ethics. Entries were judged by 15 metro business leaders based on their annual report, presentation, impact in the community and quality of projects.
Presenters included the following CSB and SJU students: CSB first-year Shazreh Ahmed, CSB sophomore Aimee Harren, SJU junior Ross Neubauer, CSB senior Emily Reznecheck and CSB junior Sarah Schwalbach. The presentation coordinator is CSB junior Emily Masters.
The team competes again at the national competition, which is May 11-13 in Minneapolis.
