Contact Saint John's Arboretum at 320-363-3133 to arrange a trip.  The maple syrup season is weather dependent but typically runs from March 15 - April 15.

The Minnesota DNR's publication Minnesota Conservation Volunteer has a new Young Naturalist section on maple syruping. Read the article and view the teacher's guide to using it in the classroom on their website. The information is a great pre or post activity surrounding a field trip to the Saint John's Arboretum Sugar Shack!
