Readers Theater

The Literary Arts Institute, in collaboration with Graywolf Press and the Jungle Theater in Minneapolis, organizes adaptations of various Graywolf texts into a remarkable "spoken word" presentation, that is, a play for voices. Presentations are arranged sometimes by literary genre--poetry, fiction, or memoir--sometimes by theme--"Voices under Fire" or "Possession and Obsession: Readings from the Heart." Held at both the college and at the Jungle Theater, these dramatic readings--by professional Twin Cities actors--bring exciting literature alive in front of public audiences.
