Articles in Library Databases If you're not sure where to begin your research, visit the Help Finding Articles page for assistance or Ask the Librarian for your subject area for help.

Also, it is possible to generage persistent links to full-text online articles that you can send to students, integrate into course webpages or WebCT, or just keep for your own use.  Visit the Linking to Articles page to find more information about how to do this.
 
Borrowing Policies The faculty due date for circulating books, scores and government documents is June 1st.  Items can be renewed up to three times before we ask that they be brought back to the library.  Visit the Patron Policies page for more information.
 
Chronicle of Higher Education Full-text access to the weekly newspaper covering academe can be found here.
 
Copyright Resources Visit the Copyright Resources page to find information about copyright and fair use, including links to government resources and resources about copyright and education.
 
Information Literacy In the new FYE core requirements, Information Literacy is a component. Visit the Information Literacy page to read more and to find out about the services provided by the library.
 
Library Instruction Find the Librarian Contact for your department to request library instruction for your class.
 
Library Toolbar Download and use the CSB/SJU Library Toolbar to search the MnPALS catalog, Academic Search Premier, and LexisNexis directly from your browser.
 
Media Services Media services, including films, audio-visual materials, video conferencing, and media production, are provided through the libraries.  Visit the Media Services page to read more about these services.
 
Plagiarism Resources For plagiarism resources, read the CSB/SJU Plagiarism Policy, the library Plagiarism Information page, and the Plagiarism PowerPoint Presentation, which includes a link to the teacher's guide.
 
Research Consultation If you would like assistance with your research, schedule a research consultation with the Librarian Contact for your subject area.  We would be happy to come to your office and work with you or to schedule time in our office with you.
 
Research Guides Ask the Librarian for your subject area to create a Research Guide for your Course, which can include information specific to your course.
 
Reserves If you need to put items on reserve for your class, either fill out and submit the online Reserve Request Form, or fill out a form at the Circulation Desk. Please submit requests at least 48 hours before you need the reserve material made available to your students. Read the Reserves page for more information.
 
Scanning & Photocopying Fill out the Photocopy Request form to request photocopies of articles from locally-owned journals to be scanned and sent to your e-mail for free or sent to your office in paper form for a fee.
 
Suggest Items for Purchase Help us develop our collection by giving book suggestions to the Librarian Contact for your department or by filling out the Title Request Form.
