Book Lovers events are intended for people who love books, as a way to get together and enjoy conversation with each other and with interesting invited authors.

Organized by the Libraries of College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University, with support from the College of Saint Benedict Literary Arts Institute, College of Saint Benedict President's Office, and the bookstores of College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University.

Michael Perry FEBRUARY 4 Michael Perry

Michael Perry is a humorist and author of the bestselling memoirs Population 485: Meeting Your Neighbors One Siren at a Time; Truck: A Love Story; and Coop: A Year of Poultry, Pigs and Parenting. The New York Times says his work has "a storytelling heart that won't quit". Perry has written for Esquire, The New York Times Magazine, Outside, Backpacker, Orion and Salon.com, and is a contributing editor to Men's Health. He lives in rural Wisconsin.
Julie Kramer APRIL 13 Julie Kramer

Julie Kramer is a freelance network news producer who formerly ran WCCO-TV's award-winning investigative unit in Minneapolis. Her debut thriller Stalking Susan, won the Minnesota Book Award and the RT Reviewers' Choice Award for Best First Mystery, and was a finalist for the Mary Higgins Clark Award. People magazine praised her new book, Missing Mark, for its "smart dialogue and fleet pace...a crowd pleaser." She lives in White Bear Lake, Minnesota.
Judith Koll Healy JUNE 24 Judith Koll Healy

Judith Koll Healey has a keen interest in France and its medieval history, which form the setting for her novels The Canterbury Papers and The Rebel Princess. From opulent palaces to austere monasteries, Healey combines history and suspense in unforgettable tales involving Princes Alaïs Capet, sister to King Philippe Auguste of France and one of the most enigmatic and intriguing female figures in medieval history. Healey lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
