Annual LES New Faculty Retreat
Every spring semester, the Learning Enhancement Service sponsors a free overnight retreat for first and second year faculty. Beginning with dinner on Friday evening and ending mid-afternoon on Saturday, the retreat provides a relaxed and friendly setting where new faculty can talk seriously about teaching, ask questions, offer impressions about classroom issues and the teaching culture at CSB/SJU, and share teaching successes.
During the 2008-2009 academic year, the retreat will be held on 30-31 January 2009, so mark your calendars. We will be going to the Riverwood Inn in Monticello, which is about 45 minutes from campus. The Riverwood provides a beautiful, comfortable setting and delicious food
We hope you will make room in your spring calendar, so you can join us for the weekend. There is no need to commit to anything now, but watch for more details in December.
