Marian K. Diaz, D.Min.
Marian, although a Minnesota native, is a new-comer to the CSB/SJU community. She moved here from South Florida with her husband, Miguel, (a professor of Theology at CSB/SJU,) Joshua (13), Ana (11), Mani (9), Miguel David (3) and Spirit, an Irish Setter. She completed a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and a masters degree in scripture from Catholic Theological Union. Marian studied for her Doctor of Ministry degree at Barry University while directing the adult lay ministry formation program for the Diocese of Palm Beach, Florida. Her interests include hiking, swimming, water-skiing, photography, music, flute, reading and cooking. Marian speaks both English and Spanish.
Christine Munger, M.A.
Christine is a CSB alumna ('02) who graduated with a double major in Theology and Peace Studies. She has also completed a masters program in Christian Spirituality at Creighton University, with a certificate in Spiritual Direction and Retreat Direction. Christine has personal interest in Latin American culture, local diversity and international affairs, Benedictine spirituality and intentional living communities. Christine is bilingual (English & Spanish) and enjoys all forms of dance. Christine has worked with Companions on a Journey since August of 2003.
Mary Reuter, O.S.B., Ph.D.
Sister Mary, a member of Saint Benedict’s Monastic Community currently serves as an associate professor of Theology. Her special focus of study and teaching is Benedictine Spirituality. She received her doctorate from Duquesne University where her dissertation examined “Formation Through Encounters in Ordinary Life.” Sister Mary is involved in spiritual direction, retreats, and presenting and facilitating workshops. She also enjoys reading, biking, making handmade cards and talking with people.
Jodie Peschl
Jodie has a background in accounting and office administration. She joined the Companions staff after working 10 years with Minnesota Public Radio as the District Office and Traffic Manager at the Collegeville station. She has been actively involved with National Marriage Encounter in various capacities since 1988. She also seved 14 years as a catechist for St. Paul's religious education program. Jodie lives in St. Cloud with her husband Mike and son Ben. Her interests include serving, camping, fishing, genealogy, scrapbooking and crafts of all kinds.
