Pines Frequently Asked Questions

What time does the concert actually start?
Student performances will begin at 7:50pm. However, you may choose to get into the concert at 7:30 when the doors open.
Where do I pick up my ticket and t-shirt?
You can pick up your wristband during JEC Tabling on April 20th and 21st. They will be available on Wednesday from 12-4 p.m. in Gorecki Fireside and on Thursday from 10-2 p.m. in Gorecki Fireside & from 3-6 p.m. at the Palestra, SJU. Non CSB/SJU attendees can pick-up their wristband on Friday at the door of the concert.
What if I can’t come to pre-pickup?
That’s okay! You can get your ticket and t-shirt the day of the concert. Stand in the “Students and Guests” line going into the Concert to get your ticket and when you’re in the Concert find the “Merchandise Tent” to get your t-shirt.
Who is performing at 16 Pines?
There will be student performances by 2014 and 2015 Talent Show Winner: Element; Battle of the Bands Winner: David Huss and the Aquatic Hitchhikers; and The Voice Winner: Jake Braun, as well as Professional Artist performances by Timeflies.
What should I bring with me to the concert?
Bring your student ID, cash for the food trucks and merchandise, and your wristband that serves as your ticket, if you’ve picked it up already.
Will there be food there?
Yes! There will be Food Trucks available for you to purchase food – So Bring Cash!
Can I bring a backpack or water bottle into the dance?
No, you will be asked to leave your bag at the bag check upon arrival, and any bottles or beverages will be dumped out upon discovery. There is also free water available to you once you’re in the Concert.
Can I leave the concert and come back? I am a JEC Alum, is there a special rate?
 No, there will be no re-entry allowed.

When and where is the Lazer Light Dance happening?
The Lazer Light Dance begins at 8:30pm in HCC Fieldhouse. 
When and where is the Obstacle Course happening?
The Obstacle Course starts at 2:00 pm on the Tundra at SJU. Guests that want to participate in the Obstacle Course must be over 18. If they are under 18, they need to be accompanied by a CSB|SJU Student, Staff or Faculty member.
What should I wear to the Lazer Light Dance?
White or neon clothes. 
What should I wear to the Obstacle Course?
Athletic clothes and tennis shoes. Dress for the weather - course could be muddy. 
Do I need a ticket to attend the Obstacle Course or the Lazer Light Dance?
No, if you can’t make it to the concert, you don’t need a ticket to come to either the Obstacle Course or the Lazer Light Dance. All are Welcome!
Will there be food later in the evening on Saturday?
Yes! There is a free After-Pines Snack in the Atria (outside O'Connell's) at 11 pm.
