Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer at the Institute for Women’s Leadership by attending volunteer opportunities throughout the year. Students may attend as many or as few opportunities as they wish. Contact our Program Coordinators Rachel Peterson and Sarah Mikkelson at iwl@csbsju.edu to be added to the volunteer distribution list and receive emails when opportunities are available.

Past volunteer opportunities include:
Creating care packages for female soldiers
Making fleece tie-blankets for a women’s shelter
Assisting with daycare for on-campus events
Preparing and serving meals for residents at a women’s shelter

Upcoming volunteer opportunities include:
November 15th, 9:30 am - 12:30 pm: Meal preparations at Anna Marie's Battered Women's Shelter in St. Cloud.
November 21st, 12:30 - 3:30 pm: Helping the OSB sisters clean and organize their food pantry, in preparation for much needed kitchen updates.

You may also volunteer at the Institute for Women’s Leadership by planning and executing programs with our Program Coordinators. If you have an idea for a program or would like to assist with a program, contact our Program Coordinators Rachel Peterson and Sarah Mikkelson at iwl@csbsju.edu.
