Applications for 2016-2017 Hynes Scholars Cohort is now open!

2015-2016 Application & Interview Timeline:
  • Tuesday, February 23th, 2016: Online Application Opens
  • Monday, March 7th, 2016: Online Application Closes
  • Friday, March 11th- Saturday March 12th, 2016: Interviews
  • Decision Letters sent (via email) no later than Monday, March 14th, 2016

Hynes Scholars will be expected to commit to participate in the cohort throughout the entire academic year, in the following ways:
  • Engage in group meetings roughly every two weeks on Thursday nights from 6-8pm (*you must have this time free in your schedule in order to participate in the cohort!)
  • Engage in 1-2 individual one-on-one meetings with the Program Coordinator
  • Attend the fall and spring retreat
  • Participate in a book group on a variety of gender and leadership topics
  • Engage in a Scholarship & Creativity Day Project
  • Opportunity to attend, as a member of the St. Ben's Student Delegation, the National Conference for College Women Student Leaders (NCCWSL) held annually in June in Washington D.C.
  • Opportunity to continue the Hynes Scholars tradition through mentoring a new incoming cohort during your Junior/Senior year
