Real Audio Examples

How to Use the Real Audio Player provides a brief overview of the Real Networks Real Audio Player's controls.

To access a tape, click on the tape name below. Next, a dialog box will ask whether you to want to 'Open it' or 'Save it to disk'. Select 'Open it' and click on OK. The RealAudio viewer will open and begin buffering the audio file. When the file has been buffered, playback will begin.

During playback, you can

• Skip or repeat segments of the tape by moving the playback slider right or left.
• Adjust the playback volume by moving the volume slider up/down.
• Pause or resume playback by clicking the pause/play button.

You must have the Real Audio Player software installed in order to hear these files. Off-campus viewers of this page need to download the software from Real Network's web site.
