For Guests: Connecting Personal Computers to the CSB/SJU Wireless Network

Wireless access for guests is available at the College of Saint Benedict/Saint John's University. See CSB/SJU Wireless Network Information and Coverage for information on the locations and coverage.

If you want to connect to the CSB/SJU wireless network, you can obtain a guest account from the Library Reference staff at Alcuin Library (SJU) or Clemens Library (CSB) or the CSB/SJU IT Services Help Desk at (320) 363-2228 or helpdesk@csbsju.edu. Once the account is created, follow the steps below to connect your personal computer to the CSB/SJU wireless network.   • Right-click the Wireless Network Connection icon in the system tray, and click View Available Wireless Networks.
  • Double click on the Guest wireless connection
  • After the connection is established, open an internet browser (i.e. Internet Explorer)
  • Type in your username and password for wireless that you received from the Library Reference staff.
