For Guests: Connecting Personal Computers to the CSB/SJU Wireless Network

Guest wireless access is available at the College of Saint Benedict in the Clemens Library, Benedicta Arts Center, Gorecki Dining & Conference Center and Main Building and at Saint John's University in the Alcuin Library and Quadrangle. If you want to connect to the CSB/SJU wireless network, you can obtain a guest account from the library staff. Once the account is created, follow the steps below to connect your personal computer to the CSB/SJU wireless network. Click here to view instructions for Macintosh users.

  • Right-click the Wireless Network Connection icon in the system tray, and click View Available Wireless Networks.
  • Double click on the Guest wireless connection
  • After the connection is established, open an internet browser (i.e. Internet Explorer)
  • Type in your username and password for wireless that you received from the Library staff.
