About IT Services

IT Services provides a robust, Windows-based campus network serving both the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University campuses plus the Prep School, the Saint John's Abbey and Saint Benedict's Monastery.   All offices, classrooms and laboratories are wired for network access. A wide variety of academic and general productivity software is available on the campus network.

IT Services staff includes people who provide full-time help-desk services, software support and training workshops in a wide variety of software applications.  

A network connection is available for every student in the residence halls.  Students who do not have a PC in their room will have access to a Computer Cluster in their residence hall. Computer Clusters are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 

Every networked PC, Mac and Linux workstation is connected to the Internet at all times.
