Description: Catholic Charities is looking for an intern to work in their Financial Management Counseling Program. This office helps individuals and families having financial problems handle their finances, pay their bills and plan for their financial future.
Responsibilities: The Financial Management Counseling intern would train with staff and maintain an independent caseload, including assessing clients’ financial situation, doing a budget, providing information and referrals, participating in creditor negotiation, and developing monthly spending plans. Services also include housing counseling, reverse mortgage, debt pro-rate counseling, and individual and group education.
Requirements: Interns who are working towards a degree in social work, human relations, finance/accounting, or a related field are encouraged to apply. The ability to work with a diverse clientele and manage money effectively is required. Interns work part-time or full-time for a 3 month period.

Description: The St. Cloud City & County Employees Credit Union is a state chartered, federally insured credit union. It has been serving the employees and family members of the City of St. Cloud, Stearns County, Great River Regional Library, and School District 742 since 1934. The student intern will be primarily responsible for developing marketing services and programs for the credit union. The position is 12 weeks in duration, 10 hrs/week and pays $8.00/hr.
Responsibilities: The student intern will be primarily responsible for developing marketing services and programs for the credit union. This person will work with the marketing committee to promote financial services, plan member activities and events, contribute to website development and updates, contribute articles for the quarterly newsletter, and communicate with new, existing, and departing members.
Qualifications: The student must have good organizational skills and the ability to effectively communicate in both an oral and written manner. The student should also be working toward a degree in marketing, communications, management, or accounting. Being a self-starter with creative energy is a plus factor. A working understanding of the following software programs: word, excel, PowerPoint, printshop is another positive quality that is desired.
