Minnesota State Identification

We recommend that you get MN State ID or Driver's License as a form of picture identification in addition to your passport and your CSB/SJU Student ID.  In Minnesota, either State ID or Driver's License is the standard forms of identification for legal check including financial transactions (banks, groceries, shops, etc.), age check (restricted goods purchase such as alcohol, tobacco, lighter, etc.)

How to Obtain a MN State ID

You will need to bring the following documents to the License Center:

• Passport
• I-20
• I-94 Card (Arrival/Departure Card)
• Social Security Card
• Application fee (<$20) in either cash or personal check ONLY
