2010 Inspiring Leaders Recognition Banquet

Faculty, Staff and Monastic Members,
 
It's time to submit nominations for exemplary student leaders to be recognized in 2010!
 
On April 18, 2010, Student Activities & Leadership Development department will again recognize twelve students for their exemplary efforts in leadership at CSB/SJU.  These awards are based on criterion of the five Kouzes & Posner principles of exemplary leadership along with their corresponding Benedictine Values:
  1. Model the Way 
    • Stability, Stewardship
  2. Challenge the Process
    • Taking Counsel, Truthful Living 
  3. Enable Others to Act
    • Respect for Persons, Hospitality
  4. Inspire a Shared Vision,
    • Listening, Community Living
  5. Encourage the Heart
    • Community Living, Hospitality

Congratulations to ALL the ILCP Certificate Recipients!!


Twelve students from CSB and SJU were honored for their exemplary leadership at the 2009 Inspiring Leaders Recognition Banquet, Sunday, April 19th at SJU Guild Hall.

The event, sponsored by Student Activities and Leadership Development Department, was attended by more than 270 people, including students, parents, faculty, staff and members of the monastic community.

The awards criteria are based upon the Benedictine Values and the leadership model developed by Kouzes and Posner, "Leadership Challenge: Five Principles of Exemplary Leadership" and integrated throughout the work of the Student Development Division.
