"What Are You Doing For Others?" - Martin Luther King Jr.

Monday, January 16 - Friday, January 20, 2012

Campaign

Monday, Jan 16, All Day, Campus-Wide

The purpose of this campaign is to encourage students to think more deeply about the meaning of the Civil Rights Movement and whether it is still relevant today. How far have we come since the 1960's? What still needs to change? This campaign features signs that will mock the negative social environment that sparked the Civil Rights Movement near water fountains, bathrooms and main entrances. Students will have an opportunity to speak with CAB board members about their reactions to the signs in the evening.

Sponsored by the Cultural Affairs Board.
