Annual Giving Associate

POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

The Department of Institutional Advancement at the College of Saint Benedict invite applications for the position of Annual Giving Associate.  This position serves primarily as an annual giving field officer.  Under the supervision of the Director of Annual Giving, the associate builds relationships with the college's constituents, identifies, cultivates, solicits and closes gifts.  The Annual Giving Associate will work closely with other staff members and alumnae volunteer committees to implement an effective and comprehensive reunion giving program; will maintain appropriate records and prepare regular statistical and financial reports of the status of assigned reunion classes. 

Minimum Qualifications:  Bachelor's degree is required; experience in fundraising, especially annual fund and face-to-face solicitation is preferred; must have the ability to work with and motivate volunteers; strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills and experience; proven analytical skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.  Excellent communication skills are required to interact professionally with internal and external clientele.
