Heritage Day

Heritage Day 2008

Stewardship and the Family Table

September 24, 2008
Keynote Speaker:  Jay Weinstein author of Ethical Gourmet

Heritage Day is about community...

It's about celebrating the gifts our foremothers and forefathers have bestowed on us.  It's about you... for you ...

Heritage Day is about today and the legacy we want to leave for our future generations.

Join us.  Let's celebrate together...

We're busy planning events to make this a day to celebrate.   Help us kick start this year's Heritage Day early by joining us for a summer book discussion.

We're featuring Animal, Vegetable Miracle: A Year of Food Life by Barbara Kingsolver.  We have 2 sessions planned.  Join your colleagues for conversation about the power food has and what we can do to celebrate and harness that power.   Register online today!

Session 1  June 17.  We'll discuss Chapters 1 thru 12.
Session 2  June 24.  We'll continue with Chapters 12 thru 20.

Both sessions take place in the TRC Boardroom at CSB from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm and includes a light lunch.  A complimentary copy of the book is available for those who participate in the book discussion.  The book will be sent to you when you register.
