Get Up and Move

Target: Anyone who wants to become more active, wants to learn how to walk/run, or is just looking for people to work out with.

Goal: To promote student wellness through integrating living, healthy choices, and self-responsibility.

Our Mission: To support and encourage women in their efforts to become more physically active.  We aim to provide opportunities for everyone regardless of their current level of fitness or their past experience

We provide:
  •    Motivational and supportive environment to begin exercising

  •    Information on safe and effective ways to exercise

  •    Access to student certified personal trainers

  •    Ways to meet other women at your fitness level to work out with

Purpose: The purpose of "Get Up and Move" is not to turn one into an all-star athlete or attain the "perfect" body (which does not exist). The purpose is simply to help you get moving and give one an incentive to start. Regardless of one's current lifestyle, we want to support the individual as one strives to achieve a healthier lifestyle.
