GWST Dinner

The Gender and Women’s Studies Program offers an interdisciplinary course of study that examines gender and sexuality from social, cultural, and biological perspectives. The program is founded on close collaboration between academic departments, enabling students and faculty to utilize the perspectives and methodologies of gender and women’s studies across traditional disciplines.

Major Requirements (40 credits)
GWST 101, 380, 381, 385, Experiential Learning Component and at least four courses (16 credits) at the 300 level from Humanites/Fine Arts/Social Sciences/Natural Sciences*

Minor Requirements (24 credits)
GWST 101, 380 and at least three courses (12 credits) of the required six courses must be at the 300 level from Humanites/Fine Arts/Social Sciences/Natural Sciences**

*No more than three courses may count toward the GWST and a second major
**No more than two courses should be taken from the same department
