New Forms Manager Features/Improvements
- Before editing any fields in a form, it must now be checked out. Any changes you make will not go into affect on the form webpage until they have been checked in.
- Actions such as adding or copying a field are now performed using a floating toolbar at the top of the page (rather than scrolling to the top/bottom of the form).
- When fields are created or copied, they can now be inserted at a specific place in the form (rather than being appended to the bottom of the form).
- Forms can now be broken up into multiple pages. To learn more see the Multiple Page Forms instructions.
- Branching conditions can be added to show/hide fields based on responses to other fields. To learn more see the Branching Conditons instructions.
- Fields can now be auto-numbered. To learn more see the Auto-Number instructions.
- The Undo/Redo function is now available when editing form fields. Changes can also be discarded.
- Default values can now be specified for most field types.
- You can now specify a beginning and end date/time so that a form is only available for a certain period of time.
- Users can now delete their own forms by clicking the Delete Form button on the Form Properties page.
New Field Types
- Checkbox Group - Allows multiple checkboxes to be created within one field rather than creating a new field for each checkbox.
- HTML Content - Allows HTML such as links and formatted text to be added to a form.
- File Upload - Allows files such as images, Microsoft Offfice Documents, and PDFs to be attached to a submission. To have this field added to a form send a request to helpdesk@csbsju.edu.
