Friday, April 16 @ 7:30 p.m.
Petters Auditorium, CSB
Tickets: $28, $24 (Senior), $18 (CSB/SJU Faculty & Staff), $10 (Youth & Student)![]()
Step Afrika’s intricate kicks, stomps, and rhythms pound the floor and fill the air in high-energy performances that celebrate stepping, a unique dance tradition that grew out of African American fraternities. In stepping, the body is used as a percussive instrument to create rhythms and sounds through a combination of stomps, claps, and spoken word.
This high-octane show will leave you with a "performance high." If you're not ready
for the night to end, step out to the Garden Lobby with the dancers of Step Afrika!
