Travel with Junebug Jabbo Jones through a collection of stories, songs and poems drawn from over 100 years of African American oral history. Junebug moves through a world of cotton fields, sanctified churches, rural schools, and the early days of the civil-rights movement. In this powerful one-man play, John O’Neal, founder of the civil rights movement’s Free Southern Theater, helps us explore our shared humanity.

Join John O'Neal after the performance for a Q&A session.  As a co-founder of the Free Southern Theater, O'Neal provides invaluable insight into the Civil Rights era and its relevance today.
