This mythic re-telling explores the work of Ralph Waldo Emerson and Henry David Thoreau, the story of their friendship and their mutual love of the natural world.
Set among the striking natural surroundings of the Saint John's Abbey Arboretum, Nature for the Nation is a unique theater experience that is performed outdoors as a "walking play." In this extraordinary, family-friendly experience, actors take the audience on a journey through the rolling, grassy expanses of the Abbey Arboretum as scenes unfold around them. Rich choral arrangements and live music are woven into this celebration of storytelling, spirit and nature.
Nature for the Nation is sponsored, in part, by Palmer Printing.
