Our Mission

The Fast Forward Youth Program empowers high school students to recognize and develop their talents in order to achieve college admission and make informed decisions about their futures.

Our Vision

The Fast Forward Youth Program seeks to create and promote an environment in which all academically qualified students have access to higher education, regardless of family income, social class, cultural identity and ethnic background.

Our Goals

Assist talented and capable students in preparing for college by providing guidance with the following:

ACT preparation
College and scholarship applications
Application essays
Financial aid forms, including FAFSA
College visits
Community service opportunities
Life skills development

Every student participant will:

Apply to at least 2 colleges
Visit at least 4 colleges
Apply for at least 3 scholarships
Develop relationships with College Mentors and FFYP staff
Learn about people from cultures different than their own
