My name is Krsitina. I am from Sarajevo, which is the capital city of Bosnia & Herzegovina. I am a Senior at St. Ben's & St. John's and my major is Political Science and Peace Studies. I worked as a Site Coordinator for the "Peace Trails" Leadership Adventure Program. I am very proud of the projects we accomplished in the past few years. We worked with the youth from all over the country, and we helped them to participate in the program by supporting and improving their projects. After 5-6 years of work with the youth, I can offer a lot with my experience. FFYP will give me a chance to show my enthusiasm to work with the youth of this program, and my willingness to help them. I consider myself as an optimistic person. My family makes me happy, and I am very lucky to have my supportive and reliable husband and two lovely daughters. I enjoy spending time with them, cooking, skiing, and playing soccer |

Hello! My name is Katherine Bloom and I am currently a junior Dietetics major studying abroad in Australia. Whether you are new to the FFYP team or are a returning pro, I would like to extend a sincere welcome your way. I have just recently started my journey with the FFYP program; FFYP has already far exceeded any of my expectations—I hope you will find that the same is true for you! Outside of FFYP I enjoy music (both playing and listening), running, reading, yoga, good movies, skiing, cooking, and a casual game of soccer from time to time. I LOVE to travel, try new things, and meet new people. My family (which includes my dog, of course) and friends mean the world and more to me. If you see me around, don’t be afraid to say hello—I’ll be sure to return the greeting! |

Hola, bonjour, and hello! My name is Christin Tomy. I’m a senior studying Spanish, French, and Peace and Conflict Studies. I first worked with Fast Forward as a college mentor for the 2 years, and I’m so excited to be a Site Coordinator! I have a wonderful family back home in Iowa: mom, dad, brother, and a golden retriever. I’m passionate about traveling, languages, learning about other cultures, and trying things that put me outside of my comfort zone. I just returned from a wonderful semester studying abroad in Chile. I’m looking forward to working with everyone at FFYP! |
